YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Software developer engineer in AVL’s virtual testing product portfolio
  • Part of the Software development team for AVL’s Real Time Vehicle Simulation Software ISAC & Model Library
  • Part of a Scrum Team responsible to deliver standard Software product for vehicle, powertrain, driveline simulation tool for
  • AVL’s real-time simulation platform and AVL automation solutions
  • Developing vehicle simulation solution for diverse testing environments for conventional, electrification testbeds for system
  • and sub-system testing of diverse vehicle types (battery electric vehicle, hybrid electric vehicle, heavy-duty vehicle etc.)
  • Development and implementation of suitable SW architecture for efficient real-time vehicle simulation solutions
  • Contribution to the definition of user interface development together with customer experience team

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in the fields Control Engineering, Software engineering, Mechatronics or similar
  • Deep knowledge in the programming languages MATLAB/Simulink C or C ++,
  • Minimum of 3 years technical experience in the field of automotive engineering and/or simulation
  • Basic automotive and powertrain engineering knowledge
  • Interest in working in a multidisciplinary team
  • High level of commitment, flexibility in travelling and teamwork
  • Good command of English
  • Structured approach to work, analytical thinking, pronounced social skills and teamwork skills

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €49.000,00. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
