In the Reservoirs and High-Pressure Plants department, we deal with the monitoring, construction and maintenance of Reservoirs and the project planning, construction and project management of high-pressure hydropower plants. The department thus ensures the legally compliant development of projects and is responsible for their quality assurance.
Dein Profil
- Completed master's or diploma degree in civil engineering for civil engineering
- Many years of relevant professional experience required of which 5 years in the field of planning and execution of dams is an advantage
- In-depth knowledge in the field of geotechnics (loose rock)
- Experience in the construction of dams
- In-depth numerical knowledge for the calculation of dams
- No problem with working in high and steep areas
- Willingness to travel around Austria and driving license B
- Very good english skills, german skills would be a benefit
- Reliability and high motivation
- Interest in deepening and further training
- Enjoyment of working with colleagues from different specialist areas
Deine Aufgaben
- Control and monitoring of dams
- Interpretation of measurement data and preparation of safety reports
- Inspection and planning of dams
- Numerical calculations of dams
- Coordinate and (technically) check the preparation of submission, tender and implementation documents for dam maintenance and new construction projects and coordinate these with the authority's experts
- Accompany and check the execution of dam construction projects
- In the medium term, take on deputy responsibility for dams
- Work partly in the high mountains as well as underground in dams, tunnels and caverns
