YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical management of the E/E architecture development team
Technical management of E/E architecture development projects (EEA) on system and overall vehicle level (pre-development projects as well as SOP projects)
Design of service-oriented E/Es starting from the customer's specifications +in terms of properties, via functions, function distribution, definition of bus systems up to the overall architecture
Mapping of the architecture development in the system / tools
Consulting and support of customers in decisions regarding architecture and future trends
Transfer of technical expertise within AVL and to customers and suppliers
Close cooperation and coordination with other departments (Powertrain, Thermal, E/E, Chassis, ADAS/AD, Cost Engineering) worldwide throughout the AVL Group
Further development of processes, methods and tools in the area of responsibility
Support for acquisitions and business development
Planning and execution of R&D activities

YOUR PROFILE:

Degree in electronics, computer science, telematics or similar field of study.
Very good knowledge of electrical/electronic (E/E) systems in vehicles and comprehensive understanding of customer needs/requirements
Extensive experience in EEA development and E/E integration in automotive environment
Extensive knowledge of bus systems (Ethernet, FlexRay, CAN, CANFD, LIN, MOST...)
Experience in the use of Vector tools, optionally Matlab\Simulink
Experience with EEA tools such as PTC Modeller, PREEVision, Rhapsody, Capital or comparable is required
Analytical and conceptual skills
Experience in leading technical teams
Good demeanor when giving presentations to customers or management
Language skills: English and German

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €60,000.00. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
