Si­mu­la­ti­on En­gi­nee­r Flui­d & Ther­mal ­Sys­tem­s f/m/d

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• System development and concept layout of fluid systems, thermal and HVAC circuits for automotive applications
• Simulation of cooling and refrigerant circuits by means of 1D and 3D-CFD simulation tools
• Electro-thermal system simulation on component level (battery, fuel cells, e-drives)
• Definition of control functions / algorithms for energy efficient thermal management controls
• Interpretation and evaluation of measurement results
• Detailed post-processing and preparation of results as well as evaluation of recommendations for improvement of the thermal and AC system
• Communication and alignment with international customers and global AVL network

YOUR PROFILE:

• Mechanical or automotive engineer graduate of a university of technology or university of applied sciences
• Profound knowledge in thermodynamics as well as fluid mechanics and heat transfer
• Basic knowledge in electrical engineering (mainly DC networks)
• Basic knowledge on control algorithms of mechatronic systems
• Experience in the field of numerical simulation (CAE)
• Beneficial if experienced in CAE-Tools like GT-Suite, AMESim, CruiseM, Matlab/SIMULINK
• Basic programming skills, e.g. Matlab, Python
• Outstanding teamwork skills and a high degree of commitment
• Very good knowledge of English and enthusiasm for international cooperation
• Problem-solving skills

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €49.700,00. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
