Development Engineer Software f/m/d


• Development of SCRUM based software
• Development and maintenance in particular of the tribodynamic parts in the AVL EXCITE computing cores
• Implementation and maintenance of software interfaces (e.g. AVL CRUISE M and AVL FIRE M) for the implementation of tribodynamic tasks
• Implementation of pre-development content from various MATLAB prototypes
• Conceptual support of GUI and post processing as well as workflow development
• Periodic presentation of the developed content within the development team


• Degree in mechanical engineering with a focus on tribodynamics or in mathematics/physics with a focus on technology-based natural science
• Good knowledge of mathematical modeling of technical tasks
• Knowledge of multi-body dynamics, structural dynamics and fluid dynamics an advantage
• Good knowledge of programming languages C/C++ or FORTRAN; knowledge of Python or MATLAB an advantage
• Willingness to familiarize oneself with different tasks depending on the development requirements
• Proficient English language knowledge
• High sense of responsibility as well as independence, goal-orientation and teamworking skills
• Communication skills in an intercultural context as well as a high willingness to learn

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €49,000.00. We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
