“Der beste Ratschlag, den ich bekommen habe, ist, dass ich offen auf Leute zugehen soll. Ich bin ja Journalistin und es ist meine Berufung zu fragen,” nennt die erst 15-jährige Sieba Abadi einen Ratschlag, der ihr gegeben wurde. Als Journalistin beim Tagesspiegel hat sie die Möglichkeit, hautnah an berühmte Personen heranzukommen: “Als Journalistin hat man einen extra Bereich, wo der Musiker sieht, dass ich ein Interview mit ihm machen möchte. Deswegen kommt er zu mir.”

“Being in the middle of all the happenings and the big event gives you a lot of joy.” Jakub Kasprrzyk is Med Student & Eurovision Fansite Editor and therefore has a lot of different tasks to do: Writing articles, doing interviews, providing live coverage of the rehearsals and press conferences. In addition he covers all the extra events like the EuroClub and theme parties. He is doing all that for fun, but which skills does he consider important for his position? “You have to be well-organized and have some writing skills to entertain your readers.”

“The best thing in my job is to communicate with people. Some make you think about something you haven’t thought about before.” Hussain Al Saedi’s job as a Radio Host is all about talking to people and informing the country about the latest happenings nationally and internationally. Therefore he has to check the news himself and he learns a lot about different cultures. With a sparkle in his eyes he says: “Every morning I wake up and I look forward to what is going to happen on this day.”
