Dein Profil
- University degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable training (e.g., IT specialist (m/f/d))
- Large corporate network experience (ideally working with WAN, SD-WAN and Zscaler, but also LAN, routers, VPN, gateways, proxy, firewall); experience with advanced IT structures and systems as well as knowledge within the security environment
- Expertise in routing, switching, firewalling, troubleshooting as well as in network design required
- Knowledge of service processes according to ITIL (ITIL Foundation), experience with operational processes and ITSM (incident and change management) and Cisco CCNP/CCIE of advantage
- Sense of responsibility, assertiveness, analytical thinking skills, team- and goal-oriented way of working
- Conversationally fluent English language skills; German language skills at least at B1 level and a strong willingness to improve to B2-C1
Deine Aufgaben
- Ensure continuous operation and accessibility of the network (especially WAN, but also LAN and Wi-Fi); manage external service providers and approve technical network architecture solutions based on corporate requirements
- Further develop and implement global network strategy/ network design; execute and support global network modernization in collaboration with external providers
- Execue independent error analysis and troubleshooting as well as level 2 & 3 ticket handling; manage technical requirements management and coordinate with providers
- Handle network release management; support in organizational change management
- Provide technical service documentation; maintain continuous service monitoring and reporting

Was macht ein Netzwerktechniker*in?
Netzwerktechniker*innen im Bereich Computersysteme installieren, konfigurieren und betreuen die miteinander in Verbindung stehenden Informations- und Telekommunikationssysteme. Dabei sorgen sie für einen raschen und möglichst störungsfreien Austausch von Daten innerhalb des Netzes. Mit Switches und Routern oder über Funkverbindungen stellen sie den Datenaustausch zwischen den Netzwerkgeräten her. Unter anderem konfigurieren sie Firewalls und vergeben Zugangsberechtigungen, Benutzerrechte und Speicherkapazitäten.
Netzwerktechniker*innen informieren und beraten ihre Kundinnen und Kunden, analysieren ihre Wünsche und Anforderungen, stellen darauf hin die IT-Anlagen zusammen, installieren sie und führen Einschulungen durch. Sie arbeiten in Büros und Werkstätten sowie im Außendienst bei den Kunden vor Ort im Team mit verschiedenen Fachkräften der Informations- und Kommunikationstechnik.
