- Berufserfahrung:2-5 Jahre
- Startdatum:10/1/2026

Profil
- A technical foundation, not necessarily a management CV. You have worked as a (Full Stack) Software Developer, Engineer, or in a comparable hands-on technical role — and you understand modern software development, cloud technologies, and digital platforms from the inside.
- A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable technical discipline — helpful for writing well-founded technical papers and conference contributions. Equivalent professional experience is welcome in place of a formal degree.
- A genuine wish to change direction: you're ready to trade day-to-day coding for coordinating people, representing the company externally, and shaping innovation strategy. Prior exposure to project or product coordination is a plus, not a requirement.
- Streaming and broadcast media know-how is very welcome — but if you bring strong technical fundamentals, we're confident you can build this knowledge quickly on the job.
- You're comfortable presenting, networking, and representing BIG BLUE MARBLE confidently in front of external audiences — at conferences, workshops, and partner meetings.
- You enjoy structuring ambiguous, early-stage ideas, coordinating people across disciplines, and turning promising concepts into tangible outcomes.
- Experience contributing to technical blogs, conference papers, white papers, or presentations is a strong asset.
- Comfortable working in agile environments and facilitating sprint-based collaboration.
- Experience with universities, research institutions, start-ups, or technology partners is a plus.
- Fluent English (C1/C2) and German (minimum B2) are required.
Aufgaben
- You scout new technologies, solutions, start-ups, and trends in the streaming and media-tech space.
- You analyze technological developments and assess their relevance and potential applications for our products.
- You attend industry conferences, trade fairs, and events at home and abroad, build a relevant network, and bring fresh impulses into the company.
- You work closely with our Innovation Management and Professional Services team to move promising technologies from first assessment through to potential Proofs of Concept.
- You translate your findings into clear, digestible formats and share your knowledge internally and externally — through technical blog posts, presentations, or trend and technology analyses.
- AI and automation are a permanent part of your technology radar — always with an eye on concrete use cases in the streaming and platform environment.
- You lead the operational activities of BIG BLUE MARBLE Labs and coordinate its day-to-day innovation processes.
- You organize and facilitate our bi-weekly Proof of Concept (PoC) sprints together with our Full Stack Development team.
- Together with Product Management, you evaluate ideas entering the innovation funnel, prioritize opportunities, and initiate new PoCs.
- You coordinate PoCs from idea validation to successful completion, ensuring transparency, alignment, and effective collaboration across technical and business teams.
- You make sure PoC outcomes are properly documented and turned into reusable knowledge, technical assets, or follow-up initiatives.
- You continuously improve our Lab processes, fostering an agile, execution-oriented innovation culture.
- You represent BIG BLUE MARBLE Labs nationally and internationally within the innovation ecosystem — universities, research institutions, public organizations, start-ups, and technology partners.
- You act as a key contact for strategic collaborations and help identify opportunities for joint innovation and research initiatives.
- You represent BIG BLUE MARBLE at conferences, workshops, exhibitions, and industry events, expanding our professional network and visibility.
- You contribute to strategic initiatives across the organization, supporting new partnerships and innovation opportunities.
- You ensure innovation outcomes are communicated effectively, internally and externally.
- You support the creation of technical blogs, conference papers, exhibition contributions, presentations, and other dissemination formats.
- You prepare management-ready summaries, technology assessments, and recommendations based on PoC results and emerging technology trends.
- You promote knowledge sharing across teams and help translate innovation into long-term business value.
