Profil
You check these boxes:
- Active working experience for 2+ years with VMware virtualization or OpenShift Virtualization
- Knowledge of VMware vSphere, vCenter, or equivalent OpenShift components
- Understanding of storage and networking in virtualized environments
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
- Experience troubleshooting virtualization platforms
- Familiarity with Veeam (preferred)
- Fluent in English, German is benefitial

Aufgaben
We are seeking a Level 2 Virtualization Engineer to provide technical support and operational support for virtualization platforms. The role focuses on maintaining stable environments, resolving issues, and supporting improvements across VMware and/or OpenShift Virtualization systems. Experience with infrastructure automation is beneficial.
- Provide Level 2 support for VMware and/or OpenShift Virtualization platforms
- Troubleshoot issues in VMware vSphere, vCenter, or OpenShift Virtualization environments
- Support the design and implementation of virtualization solutions
- Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability
- Identify and implement improvements to virtualization environments
- Work with Level 3 engineers and other IT teams to resolve complex issues
- Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours support
- Contribute to automation efforts using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
