Pro­jec­t En­gi­nee­r (m/f/d)

• Education in software development (e.g. higher technical college or degree in computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, or a comparable field)
• Proven experience in Requirements Engineering
• Good technical understanding of Linux, IT networks, virtualization, IT architecture, Databases, Interfaces
• Working knowledge of tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Basic project management experience is a plus
• Good understanding of the aviation industry; exposure to Air Traffic Control (ATC) is an advantage
• Strong problem-solving skills with a structured, methodical approach to complex topics
• A balanced mindset: able to work independently on challenging tasks while being a strong team player
• Excellent English skills (spoken and written)

• Lead the technical project team in complex aviation projects, ensuring alignment across all engineering disciplines
• Design and deliver the customer-specific Tower solution, from concept through implementation
• Plan, coordinate, and drive all technical activities within assigned projects, including scope, interfaces, and dependencies
• Create and maintain design documentation in accordance with internal quality processes and prepare it for customer review and approval
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for the customer throughout the project phase
• Requirement engineering for projects
• Coordinate with the internal departments to ensure successful delivery
• Support and perform system validation including factory on-site tests of the system in line with the defined quality process

The minimum salary for this position, as per the IT collective agreement, is 3,843.00 € gross per month. However, there is a possibility of offering a higher salary based on your qualifications and professional experience.
