Our more than 2,000 IT experts and enthusiasts are the bank's Digital Muscle.Tribe SRE is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with strong Oracle expertise to improve the reliability, automation, and evolution of our enterprise database platform and infrastructure ecosystem.

The role combines DevOps, platform engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), with Oracle as a key part of the broader infrastructure landscape. You will work on automation, observability, CI/CD enablement, platform resiliency, and operational excellence across mission-critical production environments.

Working closely with infrastructure, application, cloud, security, and database engineering teams, you will help modernize Oracle platform operations through scalable automation and engineering practices.

Profil

  • Strong recent active professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure engineering, including business-critical enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Oracle database platforms, including Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, performance tuning, patching, and upgrades.
  • Strong Linux/Unix administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Recent active experience with infrastructure automation and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
  • Recent experience developing automation and operational tooling using Python and/or Bash, including reusable automation at scale.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD, infrastructure lifecycle management, incident management, reliability engineering, and SLAs/SLOs.
  • Experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as Grafana and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
  • Experience with Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP, enterprise storage/backup, open-source infrastructure, or hybrid cloud environments are advantageous.
  • Fluent English.

Aufgaben

  • Design, implement, and maintain automation for Oracle platform and infrastructure operations using Terraform, Ansible, Python, and Bash.
  • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and self-service operational tooling, driving standardization across enterprise environments.
  • Improve the reliability, availability, scalability, and operational efficiency of Oracle platform services.
  • Lead incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and corrective and preventive actions, while improving runbooks and operational standards.
  • Operate and optimize highly available Oracle environments using Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN, including performance tuning, patching, upgrades, migrations, backup, and recovery.
  • Strengthen platform resiliency through disaster recovery validation, resiliency testing, capacity planning, operational readiness, and SLA/SLO-focused improvements.
  • Improve observability, monitoring, dashboards, alerting, metrics, logs, and incident trend analysis using platforms such as Grafana and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
  • Provide technical guidance to engineers and contribute to technical roadmaps, platform modernization, knowledge sharing, and adoption of DevOps and SRE practices.
