Profil
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications, or a comparable technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 3 years in Business Development, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, Product Management, or a comparable role.
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies, digital platforms, cloud computing, media technologies, streaming, or telecommunications.
- Experience driving innovation projects, pilot implementations, Proofs of Concept, or research initiatives from idea to execution.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Interest in AI trends and AI-assisted software development, with the ability to assess their business and technological impact.
- You are a proactive, hands-on self-starter who enjoys taking ownership, driving initiatives independently, and transforming innovative ideas into tangible business outcomes.
- Strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Fluent German (C1/C2) and English language skills at a minimum of B2 level are mandatory.
Aufgaben
- You will identify and evaluate emerging technologies, market trends, and business opportunities with a focus on media, streaming, cloud, and digital platforms.
- You will proactively drive new innovation initiatives, develop strategic partnerships, and explore disruptive business models for Big Blue Marble.
- You will translate innovative ideas into concrete business opportunities by initiating and managing pilot projects, prototypes, and Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
- You will contribute to strategic R&D initiatives and innovation projects together with internal teams and external partners.
- You will coordinate the Big Blue Marble Innovation Lab, organize sprint planning, and align priorities with Product Owners, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
- You will ensure the successful execution of innovation initiatives by driving collaboration, removing roadblocks, and maintaining transparency across projects.
- You will actively contribute yourself where needed—whether by preparing concepts, validating technologies, coordinating partners, or supporting technical discussions.
- You will build and maintain relationships with research institutions, universities, startups, industry associations, and technology partners.
- You will represent Big Blue Marble at conferences, trade fairs, workshops, and industry events while identifying new collaboration opportunities.
- You will prepare presentations, market analyses, technical reports, and strategic recommendations and promote knowledge sharing across the organization.

- We are happy to offer professionals with relevant training and experience a gross annual salary in line with the market of between 56,000 and 72,000 euros (salary group 4, Telekom-KV, 38,5 h/week)*.

- This position includes occasional national and international business travel, with an expected travel commitment of up to four weeks per year, primarily for conferences, trade fairs, workshops, partner meetings, and industry events.
- *For legal reasons, we are required to state the minimum salary as per the collective agreement. For this position, it is € 3.523,02 gross/month (Qualification Group 4, Specialist Level, Telekom collective agreement 2026, full-time).

Innovationstechniker*innen planen, koordinieren und steuern betriebliche Innovationen und Innovationsprozesse. Dazu gehören z.
