- Technical background in mechanical or electrical engineering;
- Previous experience (5 years or more) in new business sales in a B2B setting, particularly in the process industry;
- Familiarity with key industries such as Power, Chemical, Energy and Water & Wastewater;
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex sales cycles simultaneously;
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills;
- Willingness to travel extensively in Germany and occasionally across the DACH region;
- Fluent in German and English Language;
Deine Aufgaben
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, including greenfield projects, modernization initiatives, and migration from competitor solutions.
- Achieve and exceed sales, bookings, and gross profit targets for the MHM Protection portfolio in Germany and selected DACH accounts.
- Develop and execute strategic pursuit plans for high-potential customers and projects, leveraging market intelligence and customer insights.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities through direct customer engagement, networking, and collaboration with internal teams.
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels within customer organizations to uncover business needs and position Emerson’s value proposition.
- Collaborate closely with Account Sales Managers to leverage existing relationships and ensure alignment on customer strategy and utilizes our subject matter expertise as well as our service engineers to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Lead the sales cycle from opportunity identification through proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Provide input into pricing strategies, commercial terms, and contract negotiations within the agreed Delegation of Authority.
- Utilize Emerson’s sales tools (CRM, DMS, Decision Support Tool) to drive productivity and transparency.
- Represent Emerson at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote the MHM Protection portfolio.
