Drei Ratschläge an Dein 14jähriges Ich!

If someone like you or anybody wants to start today, in today's world it's has huge opportunity. What took me 40 years to achieve you can do it in four months and people have proven it right. What you pick up to four months, four years definitely. You talk of Jack Mah, you talk of Mark Zuckerberg, you talk of any. You must have that imagination and you must be able to communicate. Okay, if you know how to communicate it has never been so easy as now, ever in the world.

Was steht auf Deiner Visitenkarte?

Binod Chaudhary. Actually we have CG, Chaudhary Group as well as cinnovationcg which is our global face, which is actually in a process of going to a transformation. We're rebranding our global face. It's going to be called CG-CORP global very soon.

Was ist das coolste an Deinem Job?

I meet so many people I get so many accolades so many appreciations. A lot of people appreciate when they say that look we did draw inspiration from you, we want to be like you and we want to create an enterprise, I want to be an entrepreneur, I want to be the business leader. I want to transform the country. The identity of Nepalese who are globally is basically they're doctors, engineers and we'll off people too but by large the 5 million of odd Nepalese who go to Middle East and Malaysia are working in sub-level of the job. Okay that's the perception. So when these probably the Nepalese are also dealing with that cycle. When I meet them, I see a different kind of spark in there eyes, and that tells me that you know when people talk to us and say what job you're doing we don't answer that but we answer that we also have a multinational and we also have a Binod Chaudhary who is recognized by Forbes which is globally. That's the biggest compliment that I've ever received, that if you can add to the pride and dignity of a country and our people that everything is not wrong, everything is not gone. There are good examples to follow and you can still do it.

Welche Einschränkungen bringt Dein Job mit sich?

It's full of challenges. Full of unpredictable situation particularly in the countries where we are involved. Predictability is a huge issue. Dealing with people who do not have the same level of fire in their belly. You have to be, all the time you have to drive even issues which are very minor in nature. You have to even get down to the micromanagement because sometimes the people are supposed to do that they have their limitations. It's a pretty challenging, of course exciting. It's my passion. Otherwise I wouldn't be doing it. From where I started and where we are today and where we wish to take the group. No question about it. Passion doesn't come without price.

Worum geht es in Deinem Job?

I travel about 20 days a month. Either I'm speaking in conferences or attending board meetings or meeting my strategic partners or people who want to meet me like yourself. It's quite exciting but very diversified. Varieties of activities because we're involved in so many different countries and so many different businesses plus in my own personal life I've got a lot of other commitments ranging from the apex bodies of Nepalese Chamber to I am the founder president to the Confederation of Nepalese Industry, I was the president of the CNI in 1992. I'm on several, my new initiative the Nepal social business with Professor Mohammed Yunus to help the youth become business men.

Wie sieht Dein Werdegang aus?

I'm born in Kathmandu. I came from a business family. Business was modest at that time. I went to a public school. I made a very, it was a very humble kind of platform but I did well. I stood good fit in SLC which is on all Nepal basis. Then I excelled during my intermediate which was called the certificate level and before I could graduate I had to come to the business.

Ginge es auch ohne Deinem Werdegang?

Anybody can do any job in my opinion. It's a question of having a deep, that's precisely what I said that [opaque 00:05:31] what Nepali are you, maybe son of a government employee or you may be son of a doctor, nothing stops you from being a businessman or nothing stops a businessman son from becoming a cricketer. What is your skillset, what are your talents that you're born with, have that to grow and see where do you see the opportunity to use your skills and talent.
