“We help refugees in Syria so they can go to school and get education, get food, clothes and medicine, as well as health insurance.” As a volunteer Yamen Kachach helps refugees in Syria to pledge a normal lifestyle and he is responsible for providing educational perspectives for children. Even though it’s sometimes hard for him to work with people who suffer, he loves what he does. For his work no education or university degree is necessary, anybody can do what he does. “You just need humanity.”

“The coolest thing is to help people.” As a receptionist Rouba Alahmad works in the VIP department where she arranges the business visits. She welcomes the visitors, makes sure that they get a special card for the VIP rooms and reports this process. In customer care she copes with incoming calls and answers all of the callers’ questions. To the question whether people with a different background can do her job as well she answers, “We are a team of seven girls and every one of us has a different education. So, it’s possible.”
