„Ein Highlight ist immer der Moment, wenn ein Projekt gelauncht wird, wenn alle zufrieden sind, mit dem, was sie geleistet haben“, meint Sina Brülisauer, Team Leader Marketing bei Bühler. „Zusammen mit meinem Team bin ich zuständig für das Marketing im Bereich Druckguss. Es ist ganz klar B2B-Marketing.“

Drei Ratschläge an Dein 14jähriges Ich!

I would advise myself to enjoy the freedom you have at that time. Also to take your time to find out what you really want and what your passion is. And the other thing is that you should do what you think is right. Because you know best what you really want and what you really like to do.

Was steht auf Deiner Visitenkarte?

My name is Sina Brülisauer. I work as Team Leader Marketing at Bühler.

Was ist das coolste an Deinem Job?

It's actually always the moment when a project is started or an event takes place and when everyone around you is super happy with what I have achieved. We have satisfied customers and everything confirms that it was really worthwhile to travel to China and take part in the event. Also that I was able to make a whole lot of new experiences. And those are the moments that are really super cool.

Welche Einschränkungen bringt Dein Job mit sich?

The only limitation that I could think of is that my working time is not from 8 to 5 o'clock. Especially when some projects are on a certain level, then there might be a lot of work to do. Then I also have to work a lot longer. But in this sense this is not a limitation for me. You simply need a certain flexibility. But it can also be very enriching because there is a lot of variety.

Worum geht es in Deinem Job?

Bühler is a technology company with innovative solutions in the areas of grains and food and advanced materials. I work in marketing. Together with my team, I am responsible for marketing of die casting. Die casting is called “Druckguss” in German. We offer solutions for the production of aluminium and magnesium components. Most of them are used in the automotive industry for car bodies of vehicles. It is obviously B2B marketing that we use to market our products to companies because we sell to companies. However, in the end it's always a person that is the final receiver. Also the stories or the content that we push to the market also reaches a person. That's why our campaigns are designed in such a way that people feel addressed and can identify themselves with our products. Basically, my area of responsibility is very diverse. Projects are very different. That means there is no typical week. My days are always different. The only fixed weekly task, when I'm just not out of the company, is on Monday morning. On this day we have a coordination meeting with the team, in which we plan upcoming campaigns and also long-term projects. Apart from that, I talk a lot with other people in order to prepare the stories of our campaign properly. I meet a lot with external agencies. These are mainly creative agencies in the area of text, graphics and film. Together with them we prepare content, which we then publish on various channels in order to position the product on the market.

Wie sieht Dein Werdegang aus?

I grew up near Sankt Gallen. I graduated from a cantonal school in Sankt Gallen. After graduating from high school, I worked for a year in the catering and sales sector. Then I started studying business administration in Sankt Gallen. During this time I was already able to work in marketing for an industrial company in Zurich. After graduating with a Bachelor's degree, I was able to join Bühler in the marketing department. I then worked for one and a half years as a marketing specialist and then completed my master's degree in marketing next to my work. After completing my master's degree, I was given the opportunity to set up the marketing team in my division and have been in this position for two and a half years now.

Ginge es auch ohne Deinem Werdegang?

It definitely is possible without my career. There are many different ways to get into marketing. From my point of view, the qualities that you have yourself or on which you work yourself are certainly decisive. Be it creativity or, from my point of view, the fact that you can handle several projects at the same time and still keep track of the whole big picture.
