Dopo aver lavorato per diversi anni nella Grafica Editoriale, in occasione di un progetto espositivo ha conosciuto l'Accademia, e non ne è più uscita. Tra i consigli quello di portare avanti i progetti con curiosità ed uno spirito passionale, "e perché no, essere pronti a cambiare il percorso che uno ha iniziato, ma sempre tenendo a mente questi concetti fondamentali".

Diese Entscheidung bereut er nicht: „Man durchlebt eine Geschichte, die an einem Menschen aufgehängt ist. Und oft sind diese Menschen top in ihrem Gebiet. Es ist ein riesiges Privileg, im Journalismus einen Vorwand zu haben, um schnell und intensiv mit solchen Leuten in Kontakt zu treten.“
